Access to Taiwan

Most of international flights arrive at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
We highly recommend you to land in Kaohsiung International Airport rather than Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport due to your convenience to access to Kaohsiung.

Route I: arriving at Kaohsiung International Airport

After taking your luggage, pass the custom claim. Make a left turn. You will find the sign of “Massive Transportation Train (MRT) ”. Walk along the sign and go out of the airport building. Go straight forward. Take the escalator or elevator downstairs to station (Kaohsiung International Airport R4).
Buy ticket from auto teller machine (NT$25). Take the train bound for Gangshan and stop at Sanduo Shopping District (R8). MRT business hour: 05 : 55 - 23 : 55, per 4-8 min a train.
Go out from Exit 2. You can easily see the tallest building (85 stories).
Taxi fair is about NT$ 250.

Route II : arriving at Taoyuan International Airport

A. Ubus (shuttle bus to High Speed Rail Station)

Buy Ubus ticket at the counter; NT$30/person, per 10-15 min a bus, business hour 06:15-22:45
Approximately 20-30 min to arrive High Speed Rail (HSR) station

B. High Speed Rail Station (from Taoyuan to Zuoying, Kaohsiung)

Buy the ticket (to Zuoying, the final stop) at the counter or from auto teller machine; NT$ 1330. Using credit card is OK.
It takes 90-120 minutes to arrive at Zuoying (the final stop)

C. From Zuoying High Speed Rail Station to the Splender Kaohsiung

For taking Rapid Transit: walking out from Exit 2, and finding the entrance to station (R16) (see below).
Buy the ticket from auto teller machine (NT$30). Taking the train bound for Siaogang and stop at Sanduo Shopping District (R8).
Exit 2. You can easily see the highest building (85 stories) of the city: The Splender Kaohsiung
Taking taxi is another choice. Taxi station is located at the 2^nd floor of station. Taxi fair about NT$ 300-400.

Route III: Taipei Songshan International Airport

Taking Rapid Transportation. Buing the ticket from auto teller machine (NT$25). Taking the train bound for Taipei Zoo. Stopping at Zhongxiao Fuxing station. Transferring to taking Bannan Line bound for Yongning station and stopping at Taipei Main Station.
Walking to High Speed Rail Station. Buying the ticket to Zuoying Station (the final stop). Ticket fair NT$ 1490. Credit card is OK.

Kaohsiung International Airport

KMRT Red line “R4 Kaohsiung International Airport” to “R8 Sanduo Shopping District” Exit 2 (Ocean Heart, FE21’ Department Store), then walk along Shing-Kuang Road for about five minutes. Turn right from Kaohsiung International Airport to Zhong-Shan Road then drive about three kilometer to Shing-Kuang Road and turn left (about 10 minutes). Drive about three minutes and The Splendor Kaohsiung Hotel is on the right (85 Sky Tower).

Drive from High Way

Right side of Zhong-Shan High Way Exit “Kaohsiung to Airport” and turn right to Zhong-Shan Road then drive about three kilometer to Shing-Kuang Road and turn left (about 10 minutes). Drive about three minutes and The Splendor Kaohsiung Hotel is on the right (85 Sky Tower).
